The iHome iP92BZ is a great investment if you need a new alarm clock and speakers to play you iPod. A sleek looking clock that compliments any room, it provides great sound quality, a good radio, and comes with a helpful remote. It has a dual alarm system that allows you to set two different alarms, for example, an alarm for the weekdays and one for the weekends. The iP92BZ provides a variety of ways for the alarm to go off, it could be your iPod's music, a buzzer or even the radio. I'm one of those people that enjoy listening to music daily and so having a system that produces high quality music is a must and the iHome iP92BZ does exactly that. Volume is never a problem, at 50% volume the sound more than fills any room and at even higher levels the sound remains crystal clear and distortion free. This version of the iHome also provides a good radio quality, usually reception at my home is an issue, but with this system I get good reception with little static. An added bonus, is that not only does the systems allow for the playing of music, but will also charge your docked iPod, which keeps your device ready for a use on the go. The clock is really easy to set up because there is a time zone button which you click and then choose the time zone your in, and on top that there is a daylight savings switch so you don't have to worry about trying to figure out how to change the time manually.
The included remote control and free software application adds nice finishing touches to an already loaded system. The full function remote allows easy access to the iHomes features so that you can control your music experience from across a room, being able to switch between music and radio is cool feature when you don't want to listen to the same music from your iPod over again. The iHome software application is available free on the iTunes website allows access to a neat set of features, that I will leave for you to discover.
The system is not perfect. It is not a compact system. It has a rather large footprint when used on a nightstand. Some of the settings buttons are located on the back of the device, which makes them hard to find and use if you don't notice them.
This latest edition to the iHome line provides high quality sound and great features at a reasonable price. You won't be disappointed with the purchase of this newest member of the iHome family.

this isnt a bad product but i must totally agree with one other user about the nap feature-good idea of allowing you to push a button for a nice nap at certain time intervals-BUT- the only alarm available is the buzzer-which cannot be adjusted for volume-and is set at such an incredibly low volume that i can be awake and next to it and not sure it is even ringing-seriously,i cant understand how this was alowed to proceed to production with this flaw-like all the other features but must say i am peeved that such a useful feature is worthless
