Now that laptops are so much better and the screens are bigger, the laptop can easily replace the old work station. This docking station is ideal for connecting the laptop to my office systems. It is simple to instal and enables the laptop to be hooked up with ease.
This product worked for about 2 weeks and I'm in the process of returning it to Dell. We tried two of them and they both failed. I wish I could recommend something else but I have not found a replacement yet. Also, fyi, it does not have an external monitor connection.
