I purchased this item because I just wanted a small, simple ipod dock. So far I have no complaints.
Selling points:
-Small
-Good sound (sounds like a boom box)
-AC adapter (so many of these take batteries)
-Price! (they all seem to be at least $40)

I bought this compact speaker dock to use on my desk at work. I live in an area where I can only get two local radio stations that play the same songs over and over. I can use either my iPod Touch or Sony mp3 player with this speaker dock, which is a plus. The small size, classy styling and low price made this speaker dock exactly what I was looking for. I didn't need the speaker to be exceptionally loud and this is plenty loud enough for my needs. It has good sound but it doesn't have the deep base that I would expect larger and much more expensive systems would have. The only negative in my book is the volume buttons on the speaker dock, they make an unpleasant plastic clicking noise each time they are pressed, which hints at this product's low price point. But, by hearing the noise at least you know that you have depressed the buttons. It would be nice to have a remote control for the speaker but that would only raise the price of the product. Overall I am very happy with this iPod/mp3 speaker dock and would recommend it.
